Vivid Colors, Wi-Fi Connectivity, and AI Patterns: Lepro N1 Rope Lights Review

This was the first Neon light strip I've ever gotten so I wasn't sure what to expect. It's very bright and easy to get started, but there are some things I don't like.

If you're looking to do a specific design, setting it up will take a while, especially for first-time users like me. Secondly, I didn't want to drill holes in my wall so I used the provided sticky adhesive, it stays on the wall for a day or two and then it falls off. This is probably due to the actual light getting hot and loosening the glue.

Lastly the actual light patterns a little choppy, not very smooth. There are clearly light segments on the strip.

Overall not bad, but I didn't really like it as much as I thought I would.

- the rubbery feel of the light band feels more durable compared to other light strips
- comes with clips
- the colours are bold and vibrant
- easy to connect to google home and set schedules
- you can customize the colours on individual segments
- the app is responsive and you can see changes immediately

cons
- the app needs work
- learning curve - there aren't instructions on how to use it
- there aren't presets for regular lighting. you create a light setting and add it to the favourite folder to save it
- the are wave pattern presets for music but you can't change the colours

Neon lights are all the rage as they help mass up a space. This one is well made fully encased in bendable silicon so you can easily mold and shape it into shapes and letters. Perfect as an accent light behind a monitor or TV. The continuous LED lighting is so much nicer than the older individual light rope lights. As other have noted the App has some great features to control the lights but is also lacking some basic things like presets. Defiantly cheaper than the Philips Hue version and over all feels like a premium product.

Incredibly easy to set up, install and pair with the phone. Then it is just as easy to precisely control the functions of the strip...whatever you want!...I just wish I got longer than 10 feet. This is a temporary install as I have plans putting the lights into a mural on the wall!

This RGB light strip is pretty cool because it's a continuous light, rather than a strip made up of several small spaced out lights. The effect you get is pretty much like a neon sign that you can manipulate to the shape you desire.
It comes as a double-sided tape for adhesion, so you may want to get clips for easier shape-making.
So far the lights work well with Google assistant.
